You can successfully create a modern home even if you have a small space and show it to everyone proudly. Sometimes, it will be easier to work with when you have a smaller area, you can easily decorate it since you don’t have to be concerned about the pattern of one room moving to the next.

Invite the Sun: Natural sunlight will automatically increase the size of your room. You should completely avoid heavy curtains in small places.

Shelving: When you have small spaces you can really benefit from shelving, not only for looks but also for storage as well. Use beautiful boxes that compliment your design to hide things that you don’t want to show off or have no room for.

Furniture: You may think of putting full size table to entertain your guests, but this will take up lot of space when the table is not in use. Use a drop leaf table instead of full size table. Never underrate footstools or seating cubes that give a modern look and they can be used as a coffee table or an additional chair when needed.

Minimum Furniture: Always keep your furniture minimal along with beautiful clean lines, never overstuff your room with too many furniture.

Rugs are very important: Many people feel the need of huge space to put rugs, but this is not true. You can put differing rugs over one another to provide an ultra chic look to your studio apartment and it will leave a good impression on your guests.
